In 1980, we traveled to Egypt as one of the first large groups to visit the country. I guess this is where we first developed our travel bug! 43 years later we decided to return. Debbie has wanted to see Abu Simbel since she was 10 when she saw photos of the dismantling and rebuilding of the temple so it wouldn't be covered with water as a result of the Aswan Dam.
