After 15 months of staying at home due to COVID, we were able to travel again in July. We sailed aboard the National Geographic Explorer as we enjoyed a circumnavigation of Iceland, making daily Zodiac landings to hike, visit waterfalls, and explore remote islands. We even crossed the Arctic Circle. This was the perfect time of year to observe the thousands of Puffins that nest there and raise their young before heading out to sea at the end of August for the winter.
